Skillet Meat Loaf

Ingredients
Canned Tomato Soup - 1 , 10 3/4
Beef - 1 1/2 pounds, ground
Fine Dry Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1 lightly beaten
Onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Pepper - a generous dash
Shortening - 1 tablespoon
Water - 1/4 cup
Prepared Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon
Processed Cheese - 2 slices, halved
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Into a bowl. mix the 1/4 cup soup with meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly
2) Using the hands roll the meat mixture into 2 loaves
MAKING
3) In a skillet, put the shortening and fry the loaves
4) Drain off any excess fat
5) Stir in the water, mustard and remaining soup
6) Sprinkle the top of the loaves with cheese
7) Fry again for another 10 minutes

SERVING
8)Slice the loaves and serve with some buttered bread and salad
