Veal Loaf

Ingredients
  Ground veal 2 Pound
  Ground fresh pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Fine dry bread crumbs 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Evaporated milk 3 Tablespoon
  Melted butter/Margarine /shortening /drippings 3 Tablespoon
  Minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Hard cooked eggs 2 , sieved
Directions

1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 350° F. Rub a loaf pan with butter or margarine.
2. Mix the veal, pork, bread crumbs, milk, 2 tablespoons butter or drippings, onion, salt and the eggs. Pack into the loaf pan; or form into loaf shape in a shallow roasting pan.
3. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Baste first with the rest of the melted butter, margarine, shortening or drippings, then with drippings from tile loaf.
