Tasty Baked Meatloaf
|Peas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh / Frozen)|
|Minced beef||250 Gram|
|Sausage mince||500 Gram|
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Dried mixed herbs||1 Teaspoon|
|Breadcrumbs||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Dackaeed)|
Boil, steam or microwave peas until tender; drain.
Combine both minces in medium bowl, mix well with wooden spoon or your hand.
Mix in egg, onion, herbs and half the breadcrumbs.
Mix in peas gently.
Grease an ovenproof loaf dish or pan (base measures 14cm x 21cm), sprinkle with some of the remaining breadcrumbs.
Press mixture gently into dish.
Sprinkle top with remaining breadcrumbs.
Bake in moderate oven for about 1 hour or until the juices are clear when a skewer is inserted into the meatloaf.
Stand for 5 minutes before turning onto wire rack over a tray.
