Liver Loaf

Ingredients
  Beef liver 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs), peeled
  Bacon strip 3
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Soft bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Powdered sage 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Powdered thyme 1⁄3 Teaspoon
  Bottled milk/1/4 cup evaporated milk and 1/4 cup water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Put liver, onion, garlic, and bacon through a food chopper, using medium blade.
Add egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme, and 1/4 c of milk.
Then pour mixture into a greased or oiled loaf pan about 8" x 4" x 3".
Pour over the remaining 1/4 c milk.
Bake in moderate oven of 350°F for 1 1/4 hrs.
Serve sliced hot, with or without Tomato or Spanish Sauce, or sliced cold.
