Chili Turkey Loaf
|Ground turkey||2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Seasoned dry bread crumbs||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Italian Style)|
|Chopped green bell pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), minced|
|Eggs||2 , lightly beaten|
|Horseradish mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
MAKE foil handles for loaf.
Mix all ingredients except salsa in large bowl.
Shape into round loaf and place on top of foil strips.
Transfer to bottom of slow cooker using foil handles.
Cover and cook on LOW 4 1/2 to 5 hours or until temperature is 170°F.
Remove loaf from slow cooker using foil handles.
Place on serving plate.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Cut into wedges and top with salsa, if desired.
Serve with steamed carrots, if desired.
