Chicken And Green Peppercorn Loaf
|Chicken fillets||250 Gram|
|Chicken livers||60 Gram|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Stale breadcrumbs||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Canned green peppercorns||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Puff pastry||187 1⁄2 Gram (1/2 Of A 375 Gram Packet)|
Mince or process chicken, chicken livers, bacon.and garlic.
Stir in breadcrumbs, peppercorns, parsley and brandy.
Roll out pastry on floured surface, trim to a 30cm circle.
Place chicken mixture in centre of pastry, pat into round shape, brush chicken with egg white.
Join edges of pastry at top with egg white.
Turn loaf over and place on oven tray, decorate with pastry trimmings.
Brush top and sides with egg white.
Bake in moderate oven 45 to 50 minutes; cool.
