Beef Meatloaf

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Ounce (15 gram)
  Dry breadcrumbs 2 Ounce (50 gram)
  Beef 2 Pound, minced (1 kilogram)
  Onion 1 Medium, finely chopped
  Beef stock cube 1⁄4 , dissolved in 15 milliliter / 1 tablespoon boiling water
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Dried mixed herbs 1 Pinch
  Tomato puree 30 Milliliter (2 tablespoons)
  Egg 1 , beaten
Directions

Grease a 1 kg./ 2 lb.loaf tin with the butter, then coat with some of the breadcrumbs.
Put the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Pack the mixture into the loaf tin and put the tin into the oven preheated to fairly hot (190°C/375°F or Gas Mark 5).
Bake for 1 1/4 hours
