|Beef stock cube||1⁄4 , dissolved in 15 milliliter / 1 tablespoon boiling water|
|Dried mixed herbs||1 Pinch|
|Tomato puree||30 Milliliter (2 tablespoons)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
Grease a 1 kg./ 2 lb.loaf tin with the butter, then coat with some of the breadcrumbs.
Put the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Pack the mixture into the loaf tin and put the tin into the oven preheated to fairly hot (190°C/375°F or Gas Mark 5).
Bake for 1 1/4 hours
