  Ground chuck 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground veal 1⁄2 Pound
  Lean ground pork/2 1/2 pounds meat loaf mixture 1⁄4 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped shallots/Green onions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Basil leaf 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled
  Packaged breadcrumbs 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chili sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bacon slices 3
Directions

1. Mix meat, salt, pepper, shallots, parsley, basil, bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons of chili sauce, soy sauce, egg and milk until well-blended.
2. Spoon mixture into a 5-cup baking dish or 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Spread remaining 2 tablespoons chili sauce over top; arrange bacon slices on top.
3. Bake in a hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes. Lower oven temperature to moderate (350°); bake for 1 hour long.
