Parisian Meat Loaf Stacks

Ingredients
  Meat loaf mixture 2 Pound (Ground Beef, Pork And Veal)
  Canned condensed onion soup 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  French bread loaf 1 , cut diagonally into 8 thick slices and toasted
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Shape meat-loaf mixture into a thick 6-inch round; place in a medium-size frying pan. Pour onion soup over top; heat to boiling; cover.
2. Simmer, spooning liquid in pan over meat several times, 1 1/2 hours. Lift patty onto a carving board.
3. Blend flour and water to a paste in a cup; stir into liquid in pan. Cook, stirring constantly, until gravy thickens and boil for 1 minute.
4. Place each slice of French bread on a heated serving plate. Slice meat loaf and place on top; spoon gravy over all. Sprinkle each generously with Parmesan cheese.
