Early Harvest Meat Loaf

|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned applesauce||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Leaf sage||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crumbled|
1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix lightly with fork; shape into a 6-inch square in baking pan.
2. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 minutes or until done as you like it.
3. Place on heated platter to cut and serve in squares.
