Glazed Ham Loaf With Horse Radish Sauce

Ingredients
  Smoked ham 2 Pound, ground (Uncooked)
  Fresh pork 1 1⁄2 Pound, ground
  Cracker crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Hot milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Spiced peach syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Prepared horse radish 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix together thoroughly the ground meats, cracker crumbs, eggs, and hot milk.
Shape into a loaf and place in a 9-inch-square pan.
Pour over as much peach syrup as will soak into the loaf.
Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 45 minutes, basting sev eral times with the remaining spiced syrup.
Accompany with horse-radish sauceWhip cream until stiff and fold in horse-radish, sugar, and lemon juice.
Spoon into a sauce bowl.
Chill for several hours.
