Meat & Bacon Loaf
|Lean ground beef||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lean bacon||1⁄2 Pound, rind removed and chopped|
|Fresh breadcrumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Dried parsley||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Tomato sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Beef bouillon cube||1|
|Dried peppers||2 Teaspoon|
|Parsley||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
|Red pepper||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
|Browning glaze||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Tomato Sauce Mixed With 1 Teaspoon Yeast Extract, Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
1 Place beef and bacon in a bowl and work together to combine.
2 Add all remaining ingredients, except the egg, garnish and glaze, and stir well to combine.
3 Add the egg and mix. Press the mixture evenly into a 23 x 13 x 1 Ocm/9 x 5 x 4 inch loaf tin (non metallic).
4 Microwave on power 7 for 12 minutes, and turn twice during cooking. Stand, covered loosely with foil, for 5 minutes.
5 Turn out and brush glaze over surface to add colour. Garnish with parsley and red pepper.
