Liver Loaf

Ingredients
  Beef liver 1 Pound
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Medium
  Onion 1 Medium
  Parsley 7 Ounce
  Bacon slices 5 , cooked crisp
  Eggs 2 , well beaten
  Wheat germ 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Powdered sage 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove membrane from liver.
Force through meat grinder with green pepper, onion, parsley and cooked bacon.
To liver mixture, add beaten eggs, wheat germ and seasonings; mix well.
Pack firmly in an oiled 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 1-1 1/4 hours, or until done in the center.
Remove from the oven and serve hot; or cool loaf, then chill and serve cold with catsup.
