Dad's Sausage Loaf -Christmas

Dad's Sausage Loaf is a traditional Christmas dish served in my family. Sausage Meat is seasoned with a selection of herbs and spices, then rolled in breadcrumbs. Baked until golden, this loaf is sliced and served hot or cold with the rest of the Christmas meal - give it a go!

Ingredients

Sausage mince 1 Kilogram
Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1 Teaspoon
Ground sage 1 Teaspoon
Mixed dried herbs 2 Teaspoon
Freshly chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
Dry breadcrumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Cooking spray 1

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 200°C.

      

MAKING:

In a large bowl, combine sausage meat, onion powder, garlic powder, dried sage, mixed dried herbs, parsley, salt, pepper and mix well until well combined.

Make into log and coat with breadcrumbs.

Transfer to aluminium foil greased with cooking spray and wrap well.

Pop into oven and bake for 60 minutes.

Remove the foil once done, and allow to cool. Cut into slices.

 

SERVING:
