Freeze Ahead Meatballs

Ingredients
  Eggs 3 , beaten
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Soft bread crumbs 3 Cup (48 tbs), 4 slices
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley chopped
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Ground beef 3 Pound
Directions

In large mixing bowl combine eggs and milk.
Stir in bread crumbs, onion, and salt.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
Place half of the meatballs in large shallow baking pan; refrigerate the remaining meatballs.
Bake in 375° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool.
Repeat with remaining meatballs.
Arrange cooled meatballs in a single layer on a baking sheet so that the edges do not touch.
Freeze till meatballs are firm.
Using 24 meatballs per package, wrap meatballs in moisture-vapor proof freezer bag or container.
Seal and label; return to freezer.
