Meat Balls With Pineapple
|Chuck/Blade steak||1⁄2 Pound|
|Cornstarch||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple tidbits||7 Ounce|
|Syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Green onion tops||2|
Mince (grind) the steak and onion together.
Beat the egg lightly and stir it into the meat.
Form the mixture into small balls and roll in cornflour (cornstarch).
Deep fry them in hot oil until golden.
Place all the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
Add the meat balls and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
