Appetizer Lamb Meatballs
|Lean ground lamb||2 Pound|
|Ground cumin seed||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped mint/1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves||2 Teaspoon|
|Green onions||2 Small|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Caraway seed||1 Teaspoon|
For meatballs, mix together the ground meat, cumin, mint, onions, salt, pepper, crumbs, and eggs.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on greased, rimmed baking pans.
Bake in a 425Â° oven for 15 minutes or until well browned and no longer pink inside.
Arrange meatballs on a platter or in a chafing dish with toothpicks alongside.
Mix together the sour cream and caraway seed and serve in a bowl as a dipping sauce.
