Middle East Pilaf With Meatballs

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Wheat 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped celery/Green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chicken broth 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper To Taste
  Cracked wheat/Whole wheat 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Melt butter in large skillet; add vegetables and rice. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add broth, oregano, salt and pepper, and cooked wheat. Cover and simmer 25 to 35 minutes, or until rice is cooked. Serve with Meatballs in Mushroom Sauce.
