Sweet And Sour Meat Balls

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Kosher salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Flour 4 Tablespoon
  Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green peppers 3 , diced
  Beef broth 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Pineapple chunks 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) Mix together the ground beef with a teaspoon of salt and pepper
2) Using the hands shape the beef into 24 balls
3) In a bowl, mix together the egg, flour and remaining salt
4) Dip the balls into the batter and coat well.
5) In a skillet, heat the oil and deep fry the meat balls till golden
6) Remove the balls using a slotted spoons and drain on absorbent kitchen paper
7) Drain off the excess oil reserving 2 tablespoons
8) Saute the green pepper, pineapple and add in the broth
9) Cook on a low flame for about 10 minutes
10) In a bowl mix together the cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar
11) Tip the mixture into the beef broth and allow to thicken, while stirring.
12) Return the beef balls to the broth and heat for 5 minutes

SERVING
13) Serve over noodles or rice
