Sweet And Sour Beef Meatballs
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Catsup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
1 Combine all meatball ingredients in medium mixing bowl; mix well. Shape into 20 (1-inch) meatballs. Place in 9-inch round glass baking dish. Cover with wax paper.
2 Microwave for 8 to 9 minutes on 7 (MED. HIGH); drain and rearrange meatballs. Pour Sauce over meatballs and continue cooking for 3 to 5 minutes on 7 (MED. HIGH), or until hot. Sauce: Place butter and onion in 1-quart glass casserole. Microwave for about 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH, or until onion is partly cooked. Stir in remaining ingredients.
