Chili Meat Balls
|Round||1 Pound, ground (Lean)|
|Onions||2 , minced|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon (Optional)|
|Chili powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Wheat germ||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Tomato juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl or a container combine the first 6 ingredients with 1/4 cup of the tomato juice, shape into 18 balls, arrange in a 1 1/2-quart casserole and pour over the remaining 3/4 cup of tomato juice.
3. With cover and bake for 1 hour adding more tomato juice if necessary and serve as desired.
