|Ground beef||1 1⁄3 Pound|
|Evaporated milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Salt||1 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz)|
Combine ground beef, milk, bread crumbs, onion and 1 teaspoon salt, mixing lightly.
Shape mixture into 12 meatballs.
Mix flour and chili powder to- gether; roll meatballs in flour mixture.
Brown meat- balls in hot shortening in large skillet; blend in any remaining flour mixture.
Stir in tomatoes, remaining salt and sugar; bring to a boil.
Simmer for 25 min- utes.
Stir mixture frequently, turning meatballs gently.
Serve over cooked noodles or spaghetti.
