Sweet And Sour Meatballs
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Instant minced onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Pineapple juice/Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Catsup||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), packed|
|Canned pineapple chunks||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
Mix ground beef, salt, instant minced onion, bread crumbs, egg and water.
Form into bite size balls.
Place on rack and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
In a large skillet mix catsup, vinegar, brown sugar and pineapple chunks.
Bring to a boil.
Add meatballs and simmer about 10 minutes.
Serve hot in chafing dish.
Makes 40 to 50 balls.
