Meat Ball Pie
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Meat balls and gravy||1 Pound (1 Can)|
|Canned cut green beans||1 Pound, drained (2 Cups / 1 Can)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Crisp rice cereal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), crushed|
|Caraway seed||1 Tablespoon|
|Refrigerated biscuits||7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.
Add meat balls and gravy, beans, milk, and Worcestershire.
Heat till bubbling.
Pour into 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Mix cereal, seed, and salt.
Brush tops of 6 biscuits with milk; then dip in cereal mixture.
Arrange biscuits atop hot meat.
Bake in hot oven (425°) 10 to 12 minutes or till biscuits are done.
(Bake remaining biscuits on cooky sheet.).
