Lamb Meatball Fondue
|Ground lamb||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Green onions||3 , finely chopped|
|Fresh bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Mushrooms||1⁄3 Pound, finely chopped|
|Milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||1 Tablespoon|
Mix together all ingredients for lamb meatballs.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
With wet hands shape mixture into walnut-size balls and place on a serving plate.
To make Mushroom Sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan, add mushrooms and saute over low heat 5 minutes.
Stir in flour then slowly add milk.
Simmer for 5 minutes longer; add sherry.
