|Onion soup mix||2 Ounce (1 Pouch)|
|Crushed saltines||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ketchup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground allspice||1 Dash|
1. In large bowl, thoroughly mix beef, 1/4 cup of the soup mix, saltines and egg. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Arrange in single layer in 12- by 8-inch microwave-safe baking dish.
2. Stir together remaining soup mix, water, ketchup, sugar, vinegar and allspice. Pour over meatballs. Cover with waxed paper; microwave on high 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, rearranging meatballs and spooning sauce over meatballs once during cooking. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
