Sweet Sour Ham Balls

  Ground cooked ham 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Fine dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pineapple chunks 1 Can (10 oz)
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Green peppers 2 Large, quartered, seeded, and cut in strips

1. Mix ham, bread crumbs and egg in a large bowl; shape into 12 large balls. Brown in oil in a large frying pan; remove.
2. Drain syrup from pineapple into a 4-cup measure; add soy sauce, brown sugar, and water to make 2 cups. Stir into drippings in frying pan. Place ham balls in sauce; cover. Simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Blend cornstarch and vinegar until smooth in a cup; stir into frying pan. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boilf for 3 minutes; stir in pineapple and peppers. Heal until bubbly.
