Mcbee Porcupine Meatballs
|Minute rice||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked|
|Hamburger/Ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Tomato juice/2 cans tomato soup / 2 cans tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 cup water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Combine all ingredients with 1/2 cup juice.
Shape into balls.
Mix soup and sugar.
Pour over meatballs.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
I always double recipe, using half juice and half soup.
It also works well to use half hamburger and half turkey.
Doubling the recipe will fill 1 standard size sheet cake pan.
