Pork Balls With Ginger

Ingredients
  Coarsely chopped water chestnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
  Ground pork 1 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped crystallized ginger 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Peanut oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

1. Mix lightly all the ingredients except the cornstarch and peanut oil.
2. Shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls and dust lightly with cornstarch.
3. Heat the peanut oil to 375° F. Deep-fry the pork balls until they are cooked through
