Everyday Meat Loaves

Ingredients
  Oatmeal 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lean ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Eggs 2 , beaten to mix
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sage 1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped (Fresh or dried)
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Ketchup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2 In a bowl, soak the oatmeal in the milk for 5 minutes.

MAKING
3 Combine the soaked oatmeal with beef, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, sage, and pepper.
4 Mix well.
5 In 6 small individual bread tins or a 9-inch loaf pan, transfer the mixture.
6 In a small bowl, whisk the ketchup and mustard together.
7 Spread the top of each meat loaf with the mixture.
8 Bake for 45 minutes for the miniature loaves or about 2 hours for the large loaf.
9 During the last 10 minutes, top with any remaining sauce.

SERVING
10 Serve as desired.

TIP
Can be frozen and reheated before serving.
