Sweet and Spicy Meats
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Cider vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped to make 1/4 cup|
|Cooked pork slice/Cooked veal / lamb / ham / beef / a combination||12|
1. In a small saucepan add vegetable oil, soy sauce, molasses, vinegar and onion. Heat on medium flame to a boiling point and then cover the saucepan. Allow to simmer for 8 to 10 minutes till liquid reduces to half it’s quantity.
2. In a shallow baking pan, neatly arrange the meat pieces in an overlapping arrangement.Brush 1/3 of the sauce mixture over the meat peices.
3. In a hot oven at 400 Degrees Fahrenheit, bake for 30 minutes, constantly removing pan to brush a 2 to 3 times with the remaining sauce. Bake till a light, shiney glaze is formed.
4. Serve with a heap of mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables.
