Braised Meat And Potato
|Onion||1 Medium, cut into wedges|
|Boneless pork loin||5 Ounce, sliced thin (140 Gram)|
|Carrot||1 Small, cut into wedges|
|Potatoes||2 Medium, pared and quartered|
|Ginger||1⁄2 Inch, peeled and shredded|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Dashi broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green peas||3 Tablespoon|
1) In a heavy skillet, stir-fry the onion, pork, carrot and ginger in vegetable oil for 3-4 min over a low heat.
2) In a mixing bowl, add sugar, soy sauce, sake and dashi broth, blend well and stir into skillet.
3) Cook further until most of the liquid is evaporated; stir in the green peas and cook until the peas are tender.
4) Serve immediately on a nice dish.
