|Sliced mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cooked veal||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Condensed cream of chicken soup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Mashed potatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated cheese||1 Tablespoon|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Sprinkle mushrooms with lemon juice.
Saute mushrooms in butter.
Add meat and soup to mushrooms.
Heat until thick.
Grease baking dish; fill with heated pudding mixture, piling it up in the shape of a pyramid.
Cover with a thick layer of mashed potatoes which have been mixed with 2 tablespoons grated cheese.
Pour over a little melted butter; top with 1/4 cup bread crumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons grated cheese.
Bake in preheated hot oven (425°F.) for 20 minutes.
