Ch Ao Hsia Tan

Ingredients
  Raw shrimps 1⁄2 Pound
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Sherry 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger root slices 3 , minced
  Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon
  Eggs 6
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Shell shrimps and remove black vein.
Mix cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry, and gingerroot.
Add to shrimps and mix well.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in skillet and saute shrimps, turning once, until shrimps turn pink.
Lightly beat eggs with a fork and add salt, pepper, and monosodium glutamate.
Pour over shrimps and cook until lightly browned on bottom.
Loosen omelet and invert on plate.
Heat remaining oil and carefully slide omelet back into pan.
Lightly brown on the underside.
