Best Ever Barbecued Cornish Hens

Ingredients
  Catsup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Grated onion 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic clove 1 Small, finely chopped
  Cornish game hens 4
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Prepare the grill so the coals are medium-hot.
2. Combine all the ingredients, except the Cornish hens, in a small saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Halve the Cornish hens and remove the backbones. Season with the salt and pepper.
4. Arrange the hens, cut-side down, on a greased grill, 3 to 5 inches from the coals. Turn and brush the hens with the prepared sauce every 5 minutes until the hens are done, about 20 minutes per side.
