Hobo Style Dinner
|Boneless fully cooked ham||1 Pound, cut into 3/4 inch cubes|
|Canned pork and beans in tomato sauce||32 Ounce (2 Cans, 16 Ounce Each)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Minced dried onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits||10 (1 Package)|
In a large mixing bowl combine ham or frankfurters, beans, brown sugar, molasses, dried onion, and mustard. Turn mixture into an ungreased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Cover and chill till serving time.
To serve, remove cover from baking dish. Bake in a 450° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till bubbly, stirring once. Arrange the biscuits over the top of the hot bean mixture. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes more or till the biscuits are golden brown. Cool about 5 minutes before serving.
