Sassy Tomato Franks

Ingredients
  Chopped celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Condensed tomato soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Frankfurters 1 Pound (About 8 -1 10 In Number)
  Lemon 1⁄2 , thinly sliced
  Onion 1⁄2 , thinly sliced
Directions

In skillet, cook celery and green pepper in the butter or margarine until almost tender.
Add soup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt; simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, score franks in corkscrew fashion; roast on grill top or in wire broiler basket over hot coals.
Add lemon and onion in slices to sauce; simmer 15 minutes drop grilled franks in to keep hot.
