Indoor Outdoor Kabobs

Ingredients
  Dry onion soup mix 1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 envelope or can)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Catsup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salad oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Prepared mustard 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon slices 2
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce To Taste
  Round steak 1 Pound, cut in 1 inch cubes
  Potatoes 4 Medium, partially cooked and quartered
  Instant non seasoned meat tenderizer 1 Teaspoon
  Green peppers 2 , cut into large pieces
Directions

For sauce, combine first 9 ingredients with several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat, simmer 20 minutes.
Cool completely.
Then add meat and potatoes; stir to coat.
Marinate 2 to 3 hours.
Remove meat; tenderize according to label directions.
Thread on skewers with vegetables.
Broil 5 inches from heat about 15 minutes; brush with sauce occasionally, turning once.
Heat extra sauce to pass.
