Frosted Liverwurst Pate
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Red pepper sauce||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1 Teaspoon|
|Red caviar/Black caviar / anchovy paste||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Mash liverwurst with fork; thoroughly mix in 1 clove garlic, the basil and onion.
Mound on plate and form into igloo shape.
Cover and chill.
Blend cream cheese, 1 clove garlic, the red pepper sauce and mayonnaise; spread over liverwurst.
Refrigerate at least 8 hours.
Just before serving, garnish top with circle of caviar or spread top with anchovy paste.
Garnish with parsley.
