Ingredients
  Beaten egg 1
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Finely diced cooked beef 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Fine dry bread crumbs 2 Tablespoon
  Grated onion 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Fine dry bread crumbs 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Bechamel sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

In saucepan combine 1 beaten egg and milk.
Add cooked beef, 2 tablespoons crumbs, onion, salt, nutmeg, and pepper.
Cook and stir over medium heat till heated through.
Cool.
Form into 1 1/2-inch balls.
Dip in 1 beaten egg; roll in 1/3 cup crumbs.
In heavy skillet fry balls in 1/2 inch hot oil till golden.
Serve with Bechamel Sauce.
