Breaded Pork Chops With Beer Gravy

Ingredients
  Pork chops 4 , cut 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
  Egg 1
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Fine cracker crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Beer 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Beef bouillon 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Ketchup 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Dip chops in a mixture of egg and water, coating both sides. Mix crumbs, salt, and paprika. Dip egg-coated chops in this mixture, coating both sides well.
2. Brown chops slowly in oil, cooking about 15 minutes. Reduce heat; add 1/4 cup beer. Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, or until done.
3. Make a paste of flour and a little remaining beer Place chops on platter. Stir flour paste, rest of beer, bouillon, and ketchup into cooking liquid. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Season to taste, if desired.
