Meat With Quince
|Onions||2 , finely chopped|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lamb/Pork||3 Pound, cut in cubes|
Saute onions and meat in butter until onions are soft and meat is browned.
Add water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 1 hour or until meat is almost tender.
Peel quince and cut into thick slices.
Add to meat, with more water if necessary, together with salt and pepper and sugar.
Continue to cook until meat is very tender and quince are soft.
