Holiday Series-Easy Turkey Gravy

Here comes an easy Turkey gravy for holidays. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Finely diced onion 3 Tablespoon
Finely diced celery 2 Tablespoon
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , finely diced
Chopped thyme 1 Tablespoon
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Olive oil/Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
All purpose flour 4 Tablespoon
Poultry dripping 4 Tablespoon (from a cooked Chicken or Turkey if available)
Low sodium chicken stock 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Poultry seasoning To Taste (Unsalted)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
All purpose seasoning To Taste (Grand Diamond)

Directions

MAKING:                        

Slightly warm stock in a saucepan.

In a medium skillet, heat butter and oil.

Add diced onions, celery, thyme, garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add flour and saute until browned.

Whisk in stock slowly until gravy turns smooth.

Allow to simmer and add seasonings to taste. Stir well.

 

SERVING:                       

Serve and enjoy!
