|Roasted and ground cumin seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped curry leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic ginger||1 Teaspoon, ground|
|Red chilies||2 , broken|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Arhar dal||250 Gram, washed and soaked for 15 minutes and drained|
|Turmeric powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Tomato||1 , chopped|
|Chopped coriander||1 Tablespoon|
Microwave covered in a deep bowl oil, cummin seeds, curry leaves, garlic and ginger, chillies and onion for 3 minutes.
Add arhar dal, turmeric powder and water and microwave on medium 70% power for 30 minutes.
Let it stand for 5 minutes and then mix in salt and tomato.
Microwave further on medium 70% power for 6 minutes.
