Slice unpeeled oranges paper thin discard any seeds. Barely cover orange slices with cold water cook till soft. Add cherries sugar and lemon juice. Simmer till thick and clear. Skim off foam and quickly ladle marmalade into hot scalded glasses. Seal at once.
