Pears Marmalade

Ingredients
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Orange juice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Orange liqueur 2 Tablespoon
  Pears 6 Medium
  Orange marmalade 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Ground cloves 1 Dash
  Ground cinnamon 1 Dash
  Orange wedges 4 (For Decorations)
Directions

MAKING
1. Take a 3-quart saucepan, add orange liqueur, water and orange juice and bring to boil.
2. Remove with care the whole pear center without detaching the stem.
3. Immerse the pears in boiling liquid, lower the heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or till pears turn tender.
4. Using slotted spoon, take the pears out from saucepan and keep aside 1/4 cup cooked liquid,
5. Take 1-quart saucepan, mix brown sugar, marmalade, cloves, butter, the cooking liquid and cinnamon.
6. Bring to boil and boil, gently, for about 1 to 2 minutes or till the sauce reaches required consistency.

FINALIZING
7. Take dessert plates and arrange the pears.
9. Garnish using decorative orange wedges.

SERVING
10. Serve immediately with sauce.
