Old Fashioned Melon Marmalade

Ingredients
  Honeydew melons 2
  Sugar 4 Pound
  Lemons 3
  Pineapple 1 Small
Directions

Peel the melons and cut in chunks.
Discard the seed and stringy substance.
Add the sugar and let stand for about 12 hours.
Cut the lemons in quarters and discard the seed.
Peel the pineapple and cut in chunks.
Put the lemons and the pineapple through the food grinder, using the coarse blade.
Combine the ground fruits and melons in a large kettle and bring to a boil over low heat, stirring frequently.
Simmer until the melons are transparent and the juice is almost to the jellying stage.
Spoon into hot sterilized jars and seal.
