Wash pears, cut in half, and remove cores.
Wash lemon and orange, cut off ends, and quarter.
Work all the fruit through a food grinder.
Put into a kettle and stir in sugar thoroughly.
Cook to boil, then reduce heat, and continue cooking over a low heat for 35 to 40 minutes or until shiny and almost transparent.
Spoon into sterilized jars and seal.
