|Olive oil||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Fresh chopped parsley/Half parsley and half fresh basil, chopped||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Tomatoes/Canned italian peeled tomatoes, drained and pulped, 835 milliliter||6 Large, peeled, seeded and chopped|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1) In a large saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in the oil for about 10 minutes, until golden and softened.
2) Stir in the herbs, tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper, then stir occasionally and simmer for about 30 minutes, until the sauce is thick and mellow.
3) Use the Marinara Sauce, as required.
