Mussels And Prawns In Marinara Sauce

  Mussels 500 Gram, scrubbed with beards removed
  Green prawns 12 Large, peeled and deveined
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (As Required)
  Peppercorns 6
  Bay leaf 1
  White wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Canned tomatoes 425 Gram
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Red wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Reserved stock 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), strained
  Italian herbs 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon

1. Place mussels and prawns in large bowl, add water, peppercorns, bay leaf and wine, cover, cook on HIGH for five minutes. Remove mussels and prawns to shallow serving dish, cover to keep warm, reserve stock. Discard any mussels with unopened shells.
2. Combine onion, garlic and oil in bowl, cook on HIGH for three minutes, add remaining ingredients, mashing tomatoes with a fork. Cover, cook on HIGH for ten minutes. Stir twice during cooking.
3. Pour sauce over mussels and prawns. Reheat, covered, on MEDIUM for six minutes.
